About me and my therapy practice
I’m a fully qualified MÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ Registered Member, I have a Certificate in Couples Therapy and am an accredited counsellor registered with the (NCPS).
I have always been passionate about people living their best life but am fully aware of the obstacles that can stand in the way.
Understanding why we want to make changes and recognising blocks that stand in the way are the first steps to getting and being the very best version of you.
I offer a warm, confidential, compassionate and collaborative environment tailored to suit your wants and goals. Caring for your vulnerabilities and valuing your self-care, helping you build a loving, trusting relationship with yourself whilst remaining objective, thereby being ideally positioned to enable you to view your life more clearly.
Currently, I live in Hampshire on the borders of Surrey and Berkshire and work with clients via telephone, on-line and face-to-face or a combination of all three.
Practice description
As an integrative counsellor I tailor sessions to meet your individual needs. Working humanistically I recognise you to be the expert on yourself supporting and facilitating as together we investigate the choices and changes available to you to improve your well-being.
I have years of experience and have worked with INDIVIDUALS, COUPLES and GROUPS. I bring a wealth of experience both with couples and individuals helping improve communication and supporting you as you navigate a path to a brighter future. I've worked with adults and young people in an NHS environment and at university.
Working with: anxiety, work-related stress, depression, loss, personal development, lack of communication, cancer, bereavement - I'm here to help.
Whether you call it COUPLES THERAPY, MARRIAGE COUNSELLING or RELATIONSHIP COUNSELLING, by seeking help you’re inviting me into the life of your relationship, to help you and your partner communicate well, disagree productively, get your needs met and address difficult issues.
Understandably there’s a good deal of apprehension but what’s critical is having a couple’s therapist who will get to know your relationship.
Just as every individual needs something different, so does every couple. Relationships need work, and with my help as a skilled counsellor all issues can be addressed. Ultimately how you choose to move forward is up to you but rather than making rash decisions I can ensure decisions are made with compassion and careful thought.
For many years I worked in the Corporate Financial sector, first in London and then in Bermuda and Canada before retraining to become an Integrative therapist. This varied career path has given me a comprehensive and personal insight into loss and life's pressures.
