About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified psychotherapist with a background in medicine. I work with adults and young people from diverse backgrounds with the utmost sensitivity and respect for their particular circumstances.
My main therapy approaches are psychodynamic and person-centred within a pluralistic framework, which means that I work collaboratively with the client and may use different approaches (similar to integrative therapy), depending on what can be the most useful for the client at the moment.
Practice description
I work face to face in private practice in the centre and Newington area of Edinburgh, offering long and short term psychotherapy. Sessions usually are for 50 minutes on the same day each week and at the same time.
My first session
Please email me in the first instance to arrange an initial consultation which will be face to face. It is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to decide whether you are comfortable working with me as your therapist.
The fee for the initial consultation - £20.
