About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Fran and I am a neurodiverse integrative psychotherapist. I believe that the relationship that you have with yourself is extremely important and my practice consists of helping you to implement self-compassion, self-love and self-care into your daily life.
My approach is client-centered, meaning I tailor my therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each person. I aim to provide a safe space so you can be unapologetically you by being empathetic and non-judgemental.
I have supported children and families in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) where I have provided 1:1 therapy sessions with children aged 4+, family therapy sessions, and facilitated various workshops aimed at helping children, young people, and their parents.
I have also provided counselling support to students in higher education and have run a number of workshops to help with emotional difficulties. I use a range of approaches such as Person - Centered therapy, Systemic Therapy, CBT, Attachment Therapy, Psychotherapy, and Compassion Focused Therapy.
At the moment I am only providing online sessions.
My first session
Your first session is a chance for you to ask any questions you might have about counselling and what kind of support I can provide. We'll chat about what you're hoping to get out of counselling and what brought you to therapy in the first place.
This is just the beginning of us getting to know each other and figuring out if the support I offer is the right fit for you. I'll also go over how we'll work together, confidentiality, and complete a therapy contract if you decide to continue.
