I work in Private Practice Monday to Thursday, afternoons and early evenings; and Friday all day. I offer in person sessions on Friday afternoons and remote sessions otherwise.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred therapist - I offer a 50-minute session.
I do my best to follow your direction, whilst honouring my values and boundaries as a professional. I strive to empathise with your experiences, accept you as you are, without judgement and opinions. My aim is to bear witness to your experiences and share honest reflections that surface through this process. I do my best to put myself in your shoes, to understand your experience and support you in uncovering new personal meanings. I hope to support you feeling heard and having your feeling acknowledged.
I believe that the process of acknowledging an experience, can help to accept it and working through it, to better understand how it has impacted you, which will hopefully develop the capacity to live with an experience that may have felt difficult to bear.
I will keep you company through your explorations, to support your sense of safety and well-being.
Practice description
I have experience in working with young adults and adults; with gender issues, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ issues, addiction, racial issues, abuse, and trauma (PTSD). I am also a trained coach and mentor, who specialises in supporting neurodivergence.
My intention as a therapist is to facilitate an experience of being in a therapeutic relationship, with trust, building on a sense of agency, and autonomy; in a safe space, to explore life experiences within a genuine and professional relationship, with boundaries, but without expectations – where you are free to be you.
My hope for any client is, to become better acquainted with your truest sense of who you are, to develop sustainable independent self-care practices (that work for you), in support of greater alignment between yourself and your experience of the world.
