About me and my therapy practice
As a therapeutic counsellor I understand how tough life can be at times, often unpredictable and challenging.
Therapy provides an opportunity to share your innermost thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. It gives you the chance to focus on who you are, as well as your relationships with others and the world around you.
I am trained in person-centred and psychodynamic counselling. I also use cognitive behavioural therapy [CBT] when appropriate.
Practice description
I provide a safe emotional space - either online or in person - enabling you to feel fully supported and valued, as we work together on the issues you want to explore.
Sessions are client-led and either short term or open ended, whichever suits you best.
If you would like to move forward in this journey, the next step is for us to have a 15 minute free Zoom conversation. This way we get a chance to meet, as well as check that we are a good fit for each other.
My first session
Our first session together will be confirmed after the initial zoom conversation.
Here we will go through an initial 'getting to know you' assessment as well as what you are hoping to achieve from therapy.
At this point you will start to get a sense of how we might work together.
We will regularly review how things are going, to be sure that the therapy is providing what you are searching for.
