Availability

I currently have availability for online counselling.

Should you prefer face-to-face counselling, I have a short waiting list and welcome the opportunity of talking this through with you.

Do feel free to get in touch with me to discuss what availability I have that may suit your requirements.

About me and my therapy practice

Beginning counselling can feel difficult and challenging, and choosing the right counsellor for you is an important step towards starting that process. You may not realise it, but you have already taken that first step and that takes a lot of courage.

Perhaps you are feeling depressed or anxious and cannot understand why, or maybe you’re finding relationships tough to navigate. Sometimes we are unable to understand the difficult feelings we are experiencing and that can feel overwhelming. People seek counselling for different reasons, and I am here to listen to you without judgement or agenda.

I am an experienced counsellor registered with the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ, and my approach and core training are psychodynamic. This means that I am interested in you, how you relate to others and your past experiences. Our earlier experiences can offer us an insight into understanding ourselves better and how these have shaped who you are today.

Practice description

My private practice is in Havant and conveniently located at the bottom of the A3, just off the A27. It is easy to get to from surrounding areas such as Chichester, Emsworth, Portsmouth and Fareham and offers free parking. Located on the ground floor, my practice is accessible for for those with a mobility restriction.

I also offer online counselling for those unable to attend face-to-face appointments.

Working with clients weekly, I offer a safe and confidential space where we can explore and try to make sense of your difficult feelings together, and how you might make things more manageable.

I offer long-term and short-term counselling, and this can be either in person face-to-face or on Zoom. We can discuss what might work better for you in your initial consultation.

I’m here to work at your pace and welcome your contact should you wish to discuss your counselling needs with me.

My first session

I offer a free 30 minute initial telephone consultation. This is a space where you are able to tell me about your reasons for seeking counselling and what that might look like for you. It is during this call that we will consider suitable times and whether face-to-face or online counselling would work better for you.
