About me and my therapy practice
I'm an integrative psychotherapist dedicated to helping you overcome trauma, attachment issues, and emotional dysregulation so you can become your most authentic and fulfilled self.
I’m deeply passionate and knowledgeable about my work and have even developed my own 5-step framework to guide my clients through healing. My values are strong, and I have zero tolerance for discrimination based on gender, sexuality, background, race, or neurodiversity. At the same time, I’m warm and funny, and I have two very cute rabbits as colleagues.
Why work with me?
Maybe you've spent years feeling like you had to be someone else—constantly trying to meet the expectations of others or avoiding conflict at all costs. Whether it’s unresolved trauma, attachment wounds, or the weight of anxiety and depression, it can leave you feeling disconnected from your true self. You might find yourself stuck in people-pleasing, overworking, masking, or repressing your emotions just to keep going. Coping can turn into unhealthy patterns like overworking, doom scrolling, self-harming, addictions, OCD, or eating disorders. Together, we can unravel those patterns, understand how your past is shaping your present, and help you develop what you need to feel good in your own skin.
Practice description
I have experience supporting clients going through the following:
- Stress and anxiety (including social anxiety, health anxiety, and panic attacks)
- Depression
- ADHD, Autism, ASD
- Low self-esteem and low self-confidence
- Family issues
- Trauma and abuse recovery (sexual, physical, emotional)
- Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Addiction
- Children/spouses of narcissistic personalities
- Affairs and betrayals recovery
- Improving couple communication
- Suicidal thoughts
- Eating disorders
- Perfectionism
- Self-harm
- Vaginismus
- and more...
How I help:
- By helping you understand how your past experiences shape your current challenges.
- By teaching you to regulate and self-soothe, so you can safely feel and process your emotions.
- By guiding you to connect with yourself by noticing your thought patterns and truly feeling your emotions.
- By healing past traumas through methods like inner-child work and somatic experiencing.
- By providing a safe space where you can show up as your true, most authentic self.
Couple counselling
I really enjoy working with couples, and I can help you navigate a number of challenges, such as developing better ways to communicate and have difficult conversations, (re)developing emotional as well as physical intimacy, or navigating infidelity recovery. I may at times work with each individual separately to gain a better understanding of what is going for each of you, and how that may be relating to your past experiences.
My first session
If it sounds like we could be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you! Having been on this journey myself, I know this can feel pretty scary. I offer a free initial 20-minute consultation so you can get a sense of who I am and how we may work together. During our first session, I’ll ask you a few questions to get an overview of your life, so I can better understand what you've gone through, what you'd like to work on, what your goals are, and what you'd like to tackle first.
How we will work together
I believe that everyone’s journey is unique, which is why I integrate a range of therapeutic approaches—including person-centred, psychodynamic, trauma-focused, and somatic practices. This allows me to tailor my methods to your specific needs, so I can meet you where you are in your process. I strive to create a warm and inclusive space where people of all genders, sexual orientations, races, ages, abilities, and backgrounds feel comfortable bringing their true selves without shame or judgment.
