About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes change and uncertainty can be overwhelming, and this can have an impact on the way we feel. Whether it’s a loss or transition in your life; moving home, starting a new job, facing retirement, we are all unique and react to situations differently.
These milestone events can bring a whole range of feelings, including loneliness and sadness, low self-esteem and anxiety, leaving you unable to imagine or navigate a new way forward. You may mourn your old life and question your new decisions.
Counselling can help at times like these and support you to find a new perspective on your life. It will help you to gain awareness of yourself and in time, help you to make choices which can lead to change in your life.

I work in an integrative way which means I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to suit you as a unique individual. I will listen to you with warmth and without judgement, and work with you to explore your feelings in a safe, confidential space. Talking can help relieve feelings of isolation, and can help you break free of negative thoughts and give you hope again.

If you are interested in seeking counselling, please contact me via email or telephone. I offer a telephone consultation where you can find out more about how I work and discuss what you hope to gain from counselling. I don't work to a set number of sessions, but instead, review our work together regularly, with sessions arranged to suit you.
