About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to Nadia Al-Alrawi and my Gentle Minds Counselling.
We all understand that life can present its fair share of challenges, and seeking support is a courageous step towards a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
I am a dedicated and compassionate person-centred counsellor, who is passionate about helping individuals like you to overcome obstacles, manage stress and anxiety, and achieve a greater sense of well-being.
My mission is to provide a safe and nurturing space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I believe in the power of counselling to foster self-discovery, personal growth, and resilience.
I have a diverse background and specialties in working with cancer patients, survivors, and their family members. I can help you to process your journey, find a way to live in the here and now, and reach peace and acceptance.
If you have lost a loved one, and are grieving, I can help you to have a safe space to talk about your beloved one, to acknowledge your loss and pain, and try to find a way to move forward, rather than moving on.
I have worked with clients who had lost themselves, their self confidence and self esteem, their identity and passion in life because of, for example, being in a long-term abusive relationship, or the stress and lack of support following the arrival of a new baby and trying to adjust to the new situation. I can help you navigate your inner self and needs, rediscover your identity and passion in life.
