I primarily work on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but offer some flexibly with online clients for the rest of the week.
Due to recent expansion of my private practice hours, I currently have extra availability for sessions (as of September 2024).
About me and my therapy practice
The way I work is client led, in that ‘we’ will work with what comes up for you.
You may come presenting with anxiety, and whilst we can address that…..We will work together to explore what feeds your anxiety/OCD/drug use/red mist etc. Understand where its roots are and open up your self understanding and why you find yourself in this place, at this time.
My combined skills and knowledge allow me to support you in exploring the reasons that led you to seeking support.
I have a BSc in Gestalt Counselling and a Foundation degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Practice description
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ
Together we may sit and talk and listen. Have a session walking through the woods. We might use some role play or art work and objects to access the thoughts, feelings and memories that you cannot always put words to.
I do not need you to tell me what you are feeling, I just need to know that you are aware- and I will be at your side as we explore and make sense of it all.
My therapeutic style is not prescriptive.
Together we will work out what you want /need to explore and together we will go on your journey ahead.
My first session
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ
Our first full session will be about contracting the boundaries of our therapeutic relationship and some getting to know each other.
You are coming with something precious and vulnerable and it’s important that you feel safe enough, before you share your story.
