About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor with nursing and midwifery experiences gained working for many year in the NHS. I offer online/telephone counselling services only. Being an Integrative Counsellor means I use elements of different counselling approaches to consider your individual needs and circumstances. I will help you to make realistic changes and manage or cope with your challenges in a fulfilling way. If you would like to talk, I am here to listen. I work hard to listen, be attentive and understand my clients’ perspectives. I am committed to showing respect to every individual client.
Practice description
With my worth of experience as a midwife, I specialise in supporting, listening and demonstrating empathy to those who have experience baby loss such as miscarriages, stillbirth, neonatal loss, as well as antenatal and postnatal depression and trauma related to giving birth. I have a good knowledge and understanding of how maternity services function and health inequalities relating to the services and ethnic minorities. I utilise my caring and sensitive nature to support men and women from diverse backgrounds who wish to talk about how they feel losing a baby without judgement. I have trained with SANDS and the Foundation for Infant Loss.
I also work with people who need support to promote and manage their mental health suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, relationship problems, bereavement and grief, racism and racial trauma.
