My working days are Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Mondays I am based in Old Street, EC1, at the St Luke’s building. On Fridays I’m based in Balham, southwest London. And on Saturdays I’m based in Margaret St, a short walk from Oxford Circus.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer private psychotherapy sessions to adults suffering from a range of problems including anxiety, depression, mood swings, relationship problems and obsessional or compulsive behaviour. I also see patients with problems linked to alcohol and substance addiction. In addition, I have experience treating patients who encounter problems with anger and aggression, as well as those who struggle with compulsive sexual behaviour, and those whose actions have led to them getting in trouble with the police.
Practice description
I am a qualified psychotherapist, having trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy within the NHS at the Tavistock Clinic before specialising in forensic psychotherapy at the Portman Clinic, part of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. For the past five years I have worked as a psychotherapist seeing patients within the NHS at services in London and nearby areas. I have also worked in a treatment facility for patients recovering from various forms of substance addiction.
My first session
I provide an open-minded, non-judgmental space in which you will be able to talk freely and in confidence about what has been troubling you. Drawing on my professional experience, I can help you to gain new insight into the problems you have been contending with, enabling you to reach a deeper understanding of yourself while providing the conditions for a process of positive change to take place.
I currently have vacancies for private therapy sessions, whether for the short or longer term. This would begin by arranging an initial consultation with me, where you will be able to discuss your problems in confidence. I also offer remote sessions, if it's more convenient to meet online. If you have any queries, or would like to arrange an initial meeting, please get in touch by phone or email.
