Hi! I'm a psychologist (HCPC) and counsellor (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ), and specialise in creating space for busy, burnout professionals to hear themselves think, realign with what truly matters to them and thrive. I’ve supported many through the challenges of high-performance environments, helping them reconnect with themselves and what matters most. If work has left you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself and your loved ones, we can work together to make sense of your experiences and develop personalised strategies to restore your sense of integrity, purpose, and connection.

All in-person sessions take place at the Craws Nest Collective, situated in Currie (EH14 5RR) and easily accessible via the 44 bus route with plentiful parking available.

I also have limited capacity to offer online sessions on weekday evenings from 8pm.

About me and my therapy practice

Perhaps you're feeling increasingly apathetic, disconnected from those you love and the activities which gave life purpose. The very act of seeking a therapist, itself, can be daunting and overwhelming.

As a qualified psychologist and counsellor, I can work alongside you to help you to:

  • manage your anxiety, depression, and stress effectively
  • develop healthy coping mechanisms and
  • build your confidence, to help you get back to living your life in line with what's most important to you.

I've got over 10 years experience working with people struggling with a range of mental and physical health conditions.

I've learned how significant it is to work in a way that is deeply supportive, respectful, and collaborative with those who choose to work with me.

In doing so, I've had the pleasure of working closely with people who go on to make changes that have changed their life, as they start feeling better.

Practice description

I draw extensively from a strengths-based, existential and solution-focused perspective and believe that meaningful changes can be experienced in a few sessions.

I therefore specialise in helping people get clear on what matters to them, what's already working, and what the next small signs of progress would be.

I also value your input into the work. I don't want to waste your time and will frequently ask about your ideas, how you make sense of your experiences and for feedback about our work together. This means we can make sure we're on the same page and working towards achieving your goals for therapy.

My first session

In our first session together, we'd spend time getting clear what it is you want to get from our work together. We'll hear a bit about the problem that brings you to therapy and spend time discussing how you would know things are improving.

We'll also discuss what's already working in your life that may help you move towards what you want. We'll discuss the differences these strenghts, resources or relationships may already be making, even if just a little, and we'll discuss small signs of progress.

At the end, we'll discuss how we both found the session. Getting your feedback is invaluable to ensure that our work is 100% relevant to what you're wanting to get from therapy. It keeps your views and voice central to it all and ensures we're working in a way that's right for you.

Get in touch today and we can arrange a brief call to see if we'd work well together.
