About me and my therapy practice

BA(Hons), PGcert, PGdip, MSc, MÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ(accred).

I am a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ accredited psychotherapist, who offers clients a non-judgemental, relaxed space, which provides support, understanding, empathy and compassion. I believe in encouraging and enabling individuals to grow, adapt and change. The aim of my sessions is to create a safe environment which can help you to feel comfortable and empowered when processing whatever you are going through, big or small.

Practice description

Together, we will work to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences and I will use my experience and knowledge to guide you to work towards your own personal goals, whilst making sure you feel heard, understood and validated.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist. Integrative therapy means that I incorporate more than one way of working with client’s issues. I integrate Person-centred therapy which allows each client to be heard and have their experiences understood as they tell it, attachment theory which I use to explore the effects of early attachment experiences, positive or negative, which can impact the way we see the world and relationships, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which I use to challenge patterns of thinking and help to reframe negative patterns into more positive. I will integrate these depending on your individual needs and what I think would work best for you.

I have experience working with issues around various types of anxiety, anger, abuse, ADHD, bereavement, chronic fatigue syndrome/M.E, confidence building, depression, identity issues, LGBTQAI+ issues, loss, obsessions, OCD, phobias, relationship issues, self-esteem, self-harm, stress and work related issues, exam stress and anxiety, and solution focused therapy.

I hold the following qualifications:

BA (hons) Sociology

Fully Qualified Bereavement Counsellor

Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People

Post-graduate Certificate in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy

Post-graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy

First Class Hons Master of Science (MSc)  in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
