About me and my therapy practice
My style is to listen to you while creating a warm, friendly and supportive environment. Our relationship grows with openness, honesty, professionalism, and trust. This is all underpinned by working to the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ Ethical Framework and in confidence.
My person-centred modality holds the core belief that we are all born innately good. Things happen to us along our journey in life. Learnt behaviour and experiences shape our thoughts and feelings in our development. We can repeat our reactions to circumstances when they occur in adulthood. We can become unconscious of our behaviours because of the busy lives we lead. It's as if our experiences stick to us like"papier mache' " in the developmental years, forming a different self. This can be an uncomfortable and unwelcome reality that we want to change in adulthood or when it becomes painful, but we often do not know how to. We can work together to strip this different self back so that you can reveal the authentic "you", create a new reality and access your true potential.
I work in a community-based charity setting and also have my practice. I offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling.

I have a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Chichester College Group awarded by the Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body.
I work with clients on multiple issues including relationships, stress, depression, anxiety, loneliness, bereavement, abuse, polyamory, low self-esteem, trauma, and cross-cultural issues.
I have extensive experience in dealing with workplace-related stress, challenges around work/life balance, and managing complex relationships. I have over 30 years of corporate experience, mainly in the human resource sector, and have worked at all levels in administrative, middle management, and executive roles.
