About me and my therapy practice
My name is Claire Phillips. I'm a registered Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ therapist and I work with children and young people (aged 12+) to help them deal with the challenges, difficulties and emotions that might be making their lives feel like hard work.
I believe that young people deserve compassion and understanding as they navigate their way through life - it can be tough to be a young person and there are many challenges and hurdles that may need to be overcome. I hope to offer the young people I work with a space where they feel able to share their difficulties and explore their feelings at their own pace, without pressure or judgement. Empathy and tolerance play a crucial role in helping to address the issues that young people face and I place these aspects at the centre of my approach.
I am experienced in working with young people and have spent much of my time as a therapist praticing in both primary and secondary schools in London. I have worked with children and teenagers who are struggling with a number of issues including anxiety, bereavement, depression, trauma, anger management, loneliness, negative body image and self-harm. I mainly work online at the moment.
Please do get in touch by email if you'd like to talk about working together. I'd be happy to chat through any questions you might have.
