About me and my therapy practice

I'm a fully qualified,  experienced therapeutic counsellor. My passion is supporting people with their wellbeing and mental health challenges, helping them to grow as a person and feel more in control of their lives. I’m a good listener with a caring, compassionate and comforting approach to my client work.

Practice description

I'm a naturally empathic and warm individual who has extensive experience of supporting individuals who are challenged by life which leaves them struggling with a wide range of wellbeing and emotional issues.

As a qualified counsellor my aim is to provide you with a safe and confidential space for you to feel comfortable and valued to be able to share and process your challenges and difficulties in life. There is no pressure, expectation, judgement or bias, just time and space for you to recharge and grow.

Ultimately my goal through our therapy is for you to feel less burdened, with more clarity, self-awareness and feel back in control of your life with confidence and self-belief. The learning from our therapy journey can be used to shape your future in a way which is more meaningful to you as a person accepting and connecting with your uniqueness.

I know there are times when life can feel overwhelming, demanding, hectic, and sometimes frightening, very much out of our control. With my genuine support our work together can focus on your personal growth and recovery, building your resilience and improving your mental health and general wellbeing. Above all for you to move on realising and appreciating who you are and what you want from life.

Seeking counselling can create mixed emotions but carrying the worry and heaviness of our lives can hold us back, keep us stuck and overshadow our happiness and sense of fulfilment. I am here to help.

In addition to my areas of expertise that I help with I also have experience personally and professionally of supporting individuals and family members who suffer the devastating loss of a stillborn baby.

My first session

Our first session is focused on helping you to feel and know that you're safe, not judged and that there no expectations of you only for you to be yourself in our confidential secure space.

My aim is that you feel comfortable to freely declutter your mind and emotions, and share with me the difficulties that burden you and bring you to counselling. I truly understand what a big step this is to take.
