My private practice is based in Cambridge.
I currently have some availability for online and in-person counselling.
About me and my therapy practice
My name is Claudia and I am an Integrative counsellor. Whilst my practice is in Cambridge, I offer online counselling nationwide.
I have twenty years of experience working with adults and young people within education, social work and counselling settings. My life’s path has taken me to live and work in Italy, Australia, Greece and the UK and this journey has allowed me to develop an insight into people’s search for identity and belonging.
I am warm, empathic and thoughtful in my approach to counselling and I aim to create a safe space where you can feel free to explore your emotions. As there are many types of transitions and difficulties we are faced with throughout our lives, I seek to support you to discover your inner resources and find your own way forward.
Practice description
I use an integrative framework which means that I draw from different theoretical approaches to inform my work and meet your individual needs. I provide counselling for a variety of issues and difficulties that are explored in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
I have shaped my practice after working for several years within the Cambridgeshire County Council and local charities including Blue Smile, CPSL Mind and Cogwheel Counselling. In addition to my private practice, I work part-time as a college counsellor at the University of Cambridge.
My qualifications are:
- Diploma in Counselling Practice (Hills Road College, Cambridge)
- MSc Social Work (Royal Holloway University of London)
- Graduate Diploma of Mediation and Conflict Resolution (Australian Institute of Social Relations)
- BA & MA Sociology (University of Rome)
In addition to my training, I am committed to continuous professional development and I regularly attend relevant courses and conferences.
I offer counselling in English and Italian.

I offer and initial 15 minutes online or telephone appointment to find out what you need help with and whether we are a good match to work together.
