About me and my therapy practice
I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, primarily based at the Priory Hospital North London, and I also offer private sessions. My therapeutic approach emphasizes the significance of the unconscious mind, early life experiences, and the vital role of the therapeutic relationship. I work with a wide range of clinical conditions, offering both long-term and short-term therapy on a weekly basis. Additionally, I facilitate group therapy, providing a supportive space for collective exploration and growth.
My practice is a safe environment where we can work together to navigate your challenges and explore feelings that may have previously been difficult to express. Shedding light on hidden aspects of the self can be an immensely profound experience, helping you connect with parts of your inner world that were once inaccessible.
I also conduct autism assessments using the ADOS-2 and ADI-R tools.
In addition to psychotherapy, I offer Psychodynamic Supervision to both trainees and experienced therapists, whether working in clinical settings or private practice. These supervision sessions are held remotely, allowing for flexible and supportive professional development.
Practice description
I offer long-term and short-term sessions, face-to-face and online. Working in person is always more effective and personal but remote sessions can be accommodated for.
My first session
The first session would be an initial consultation which would provide an opportunity to meet and discuss what has bought you to seek counselling and to start to build a foundation for our work and relationship. This may extend beyond one session if we feel we need some more time.
We would also go through our therapeutic contract and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
