About me and my therapy practice

I’m a qualified, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ registered integrative counsellor and CBT therapist.

I’m trauma trained, TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused CBT) qualified,  a trained ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) practitioner and I can also offer Rewind trauma therapy.

I have additional training in bereavement counselling, counselling for substance misuse and addictions, working with autism and neurodiversity and mental health.

I’m also a practicing clinical hypnotherapist; a service I can offer as a stand-alone provision, or as part of a course of counselling sessions.

I offer counselling face to face or online.

My therapy room is located in Crosby.

I’m EDBS checked.

Practice description

I have experience working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, OCD, eating disorders and weight/food issues, low self-esteem, self-harm, abuse, bereavement, grief and loss, addictions, trauma and childhood trauma.

I have experience of working with and supporting people in the criminal justice system and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and trauma.

I can offer a safe, non-judgemental, professional and confidential space for you to explore and share your concerns, worries, problems and experiences, where you will be heard, accepted and respected.

I have a PAT registered, temperament assessed, insured therapy dog that I can work with if appropriate. I can also offer ‘walk and talk’ therapy for clients who might prefer to work outside of a traditional therapy room environment.

My first session

Making the decision to seek professional help can be daunting and confusing. I offer a free (no obligation) initial 20-minute phone or online introduction to help me understand what you’d like to get from counselling and to explain how I practice, so you can get a feel for how I work and decide if I’m the right therapist for you.
