About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor offering a confidential, caring and friendly service for adults facing a range of difficulties and emotional problems.
Reaching out and asking for help can be daunting, admitting that sometimes we cannot manage our problems on our own can be the first step to bringing about changes within our lives. I offer a non-judgemental and understanding environment to help you through challenging times.
I also work with Relate, helping couples and individuals with relationship concerns.
Practice description
I work with individuals and couples offering a safe and confidential space where you can explore whatever is troubling you in more depth. You may want to reflect on life decisions and experiences or talk about present issues and conflicts.
I can help you with most relationship issues including:
Affairs
Stage of life issues
Relational issues surrounding long term illness
Separation or divorce
Lack of effective communication
Intimacy issues and concerns
My first session
We will have an initial phone call to discuss what has brought you to counselling and what changes you are hoping to make.
Ongoing sessions are 60 minutes and are normally held weekly.
There is no fixed number of sessions – some clients only need a few counselling sessions to achieve their goals. However, some issues can be more complex and may take several months to resolve. All decisions are made jointly and will be based on your specific needs and circumstance
