About me and my therapy practice
Do you find yourself stuck and continuing to repeat the same patterns of behaviour, despite your efforts to change, or find yourself or over-analysing everything and feeling overwhelmed. I believe emotional distress is our way of trying to communicate something that needs to be heard and understood.
I will support you to process your experiences and feelings in a safe, confidential, and non judgmental setting, helping you rebuild a secure sense of self that will allow you to feel calmer and more centred.
Allowing yourself this space and time, to take a deeper look into aspects of your life you would like to develop or change. Together, we’ll explore the root causes and uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck, helping you develop effective strategies to manage your symptoms and move forward. I will help you to better understand what's driving these feelings and help you build practical tools and coping mechanisms that you can use in your daily life to create the lasting change you desire.
Practice description
I am trained as an integrative psychodynamic therapist and counsellor and also as a Life coach. My approach is warm, empathetic, and tailored to your needs.
Using an integrative approach, I draw on different philosophies and techniques according to your needs and preferred ways of working. These include humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behaviour therapy, solution focused brief therapy or coaching.
My experience spans agency, charity, and private practice work. As an accredited member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ and I adhere to their ethical guidelines.
My first session
Choosing the right therapist can be daunting. For this reason, I offer a free, no obligation 15 minute consultation so you can see if I might be the right therapist for you.
We would touch on what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to get from it and most importantly if we might work together. I believe this is important because it is the quality of this relationship which determines the success of the therapy.
There is space for you to ask any questions you might have about me or the process. If you decide to go ahead, we will agree a suitable day and time to work into your schedule.
