Hello! My name is James, I am a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist.
The trigger to considering therapy can be anything happening in your present life, anxiety about the future, self-esteem or self- worth even repeating behaviours that are impacting your quality of life. It can be incredibly difficult to reach out when you feel something is ‘not quite right’ or even needing someone who will listen to thoughts or feelings you have been holding.
What I provide:
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist looks at the examination of self and the past, I provide a safe and non- judgemental space to allow this process to take place.

- Cancer - going through treatment, carers, trauma experience of it or affecting personal life
- Boarding school syndrome

Practice description
I am Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, this form of psychotherapy explores your past to understand how it might be affecting your present. This could take the form of repeating behaviours, responses or relationships that you wish to understand in greater detail. Which may elicit some difficult emotions, this is something we can then discuss and gain insight into.
By building a trusting relationship we can reflect on these many parts so that you can feel in more in touch with yourself and your environment.
Therapy can be long term or short term, with sessions taking place online.
My first session
What should I expect in the first few sessions?:
Working on trust is important to me, by having a good connection it allows for sessions to feel comfortable. I will not judge you, lecture you or offer advice– the purpose of therapy is for us to work together allowing you to reach your own conclusions in a safe environment.
If you feel I am, then we can organise a day and time to organise the first session, sessions last for 50 mins.
An initial consultation is online for a 50-minute session and is £70
