About me and my therapy practice

I offer a space that is empathic and confidential, where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, experiences, and relationships (with yourself and others). By developing a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us, we have more choices and can seek a life that is more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling.

I am a Person-Centred Therapist and my approach is humanistic, trauma-informed, relational, and considers the mind-body connection. You’ll set the pace of each session, and we will explore what is coming up for you in the here and now, as well as past experiences and recurring patterns.

I have experience supporting people coping with depression, loneliness, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, trauma, spirituality, LGBTQ+ and queer experiences, grief and bereavement, attachment, family and relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, shame, issues relating to identity, and burnout.

Influencing my thinking is the belief that the culture around us shapes our experience of the world. I am mindful of oppressive social systems and create space to explore different intersections of identity. My practice is trauma-informed, queer and trans-affirmative.

I am deeply fascinated by philosophy, archetypes, mythology, and the search for meaning. I incorporate concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, attachment theory, neurolinguistics, existential philosophy, and Jungian ideas (such as how we experience our dreams) into my practice.

Together, with curiosity, kindness, and compassion, we can connect to the natural resources you have within, helping you reconnect with yourself, nurture self-worth, manage stress and anxiety, navigate past challenges, forge deeper connections, and find wisdom, growth, and healing.

My work is built upon a deep respect for the complexity of human life and the power of self-awareness and insight. If this resonates with you, feel free to get in touch. I offer online sessions from the comfort of your own home.

Practice description

Sessions are 60 minutes long and take place online. I welcome anyone seeking short or long-term sessions. Whether you would like to bring up a specific issue or situation, are looking to find personal growth, or if things in your life are just not feeling quite right.

I have a Master’s (MSc) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, for which I was awarded a distinction, and a Bachelor’s (BSc) degree in Psychology. I am currently completing training to become a clinical supervisor.

My experience as a therapist has included private practice, volunteering at a women's refuge, and working within the NHS. This work has grounded my belief that change is possible.

I have insurance and am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

As a registered member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ, I have regular supervision, training, and work within their ethical framework.
