About me and my therapy practice

Sometimes in life we face very difficult and challenging times, we can find ourselves becoming overwhelmed, causing us to feel confused, sad, anxious or even depressed. Perhaps you have recently been bereaved or encountered multiple losses or you find yourself really struggling in your relationship or within friendships or stuck in a job that you no longer enjoy or feel valued in, or you just simply are not sure why you feel the way you do. We all can suffer at times from various difficulties and sometimes we can also feel stuck in patterns of unhealthy behaviour.

I can provide you with a safe confidential space to support and enable you to freely and without judgement share and work through your challenges. Through this you will feel enabled to help process these feelings and understand and untangle possible roots of your challenges. My understanding, yet gentle and supportive approach I believe helps provide a place of respect and compassion which allows for the development of a good therapeutic relationship which is pivotal to the best outcomes and lasting change. Working together, you can expect a warm, kind, professional approach. Taking this first important step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Practice description

I am an integrative counsellor, I work with you using different approaches, techniques and tools that work best for you which help enable and support you on your journey. I have particular experience in supporting clients coping with; bereavement, loss, anxiety, self-esteem, family issues, relationships, sexual orientation, career difficulties, purpose and meaning, coping with life changes, neurodiversity, domestic abuse and trauma and compassion fatigue. I work with my clients in creating an open, safe and confidential environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared and explored without fear of judgment.
