About me and my therapy practice
Life can be challenging. I offer a caring environment free from judgment for you to explore your feelings. I will work alongside you to develop life-changing habits and help you become the person you wish to be.
I have a special interest in working with relationship difficulties, such as separation, divorce, affairs, control or abuse, stepfamily issues and parenting. I am a Relate trained, CPCAB Level 5 qualified relational counsellor.
I also work extensively with life stage transitions, such as adolescence, parenthood, menopause, older adults and bereavement. I am passionate about supporting people on their journey for meaning and purpose.
I work with a relational focus and believe that the quality of the relationships in our lives significantly affects our wellbeing, be it our relationship with ourselves, our partner, our family, or our wider connections.
I have experience working within the educational sector and helping teenagers and young adults figure out who they are, where they belong, overcome anxiety and to live confidently and happily.
Practice description
I am a qualified and fully insured professional therapist. I am a registered member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ.
I hold a Certificate in Integrative Counselling (Level 3), an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling (Level 4), and a Post-Qualifying Certificate in Relational Counselling (Level 5, Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body).
I regularly attend workshops and seminars, as continual professional development is at the heart of my practice.
Besides my private practice, I provide therapeutic support for local charities working with clients experiencing a variety of psychological and emotional issues. I also provide bereavement support for a national charitable organisation, and currently support patients and families affected by cancer through diagnosis and treatment.
My first session
My fees are £60 per session for individuals, £75 per session for couples. Sessions last for one hour.
I believe that therapy should be accessible for everyone and therefore I offer a limited amount of spaces at a reduced rate for students and those on low income or benefits.
An initial 15-minute telephone or zoom consultation is free. This will give you the opportunity to ask any questions and to help us decide if we would like to work together.
