Practice description

My Approach

As a Humanistic Counsellor, I believe that every person has the right and capacity for growth and healing. With this in mind, I see my role as creating a safe environment for you to explore your difficulties and empower you to find your own way forward. I celebrate each client's uniqueness, working with your skills and talents to help you live a fuller life.

I see people who experience many different issues such as anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, grief, low self-esteem, family issues and more. In all cases I am dedicated to walking alongside you, truly listening to you, never judging, criticizing or telling you what to do.

Young Person Counselling

I am experienced in counselling young people from secondary school age; listening to their perspective and supporting them through life's challenges. Our sessions are always lead by the young person and held at their own pace, we may use creative means to help them feel comfortable and deepen understanding.

Walk & Talk Therapy

In Pulborough, at the base of the South Downs, walking counselling is available to those who prefer a nature-based therapeutic experience. Walk & Talk Therapy has been proven to reduce anxiety and provide grounding into the present moment. Walking side by side can also help you get to a more relaxed state for therapy, leading to more open communication.

Low-Intensity CBT

I am qualified to offer LI-CBT, which I tend to integrate into sessions by breaking down how you are responding to a particular situation or issue and then giving you the skills to make it more manageable in the everyday.

My first session

I offer free 20 minute telephone consultations.
