Practice description
I believe our past and present experiences can significantly contribute to the way we feel about ourselves and the world we live in. I have always felt passionate about the development and growth of the whole person.
I can support you on your journey of self-awareness through a variety of approaches and interventions. My perspective is that we are all unique and the support I can offer will be tailored to your specific needs. I have extensive experience of working with Trauma with
My aim is to help my clients understand themselves better, cope with their difficulties, and manage their experiences as part of their personal growth and individual journey. Life takes everyone on a different path, with unique and individual experiences. I aim to provide people with the emotional tools they need to support themselves to help them feel more positivity about the path ahead and that they are able to help themselves navigate through difficult times.
Currently, I work for ACTS FAST, as well as in my own private practice I have previously worked in schools and for STARS Dorset. Experience in these different roles enables me to support different people and age groups along their journey, navigating how they feel about themselves and the world they live in. I have many years of experience in trauma-informed counselling (first and secondary victims) and counselling for children and young people as well as adults.
I have worked with children from age six as well as teenagers and adults. I have always found working with young people rewarding and inspiring. With much of the experience I have acquired throughout my career as a teacher as well as a counsellor and as an experienced teacher and mindfulness practitioner, I am very capable of creating resources and delivering training either on a one-to-one basis, in small groups or as a curriculum for whole classes
