A cornerstone of my approach is the integration of memory reconsolidation , a cutting-edge neurobiological process that enables lasting change by rewriting implicit emotional memories. This process lies at the heart of effective trauma therapy, as it directly targets the emotional learnings and neural patterns sustaining a client’s symptoms. By introducing experiences that contradict outdated emotional beliefs, memory reconsolidation allows the brain to transform these patterns, fostering profound and enduring healing.
To support this, I incorporate a range of evidence-based models, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), and Somatic Work.
