About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I am Victoria, an experienced counsellor supporting adults working through stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions within my private practice based in Romsey. My work includes face-to-face appointments and online. I can tailor the process to suit your needs, also providing Walk and Talk Therapy sessions.

My empathic approach will provide you with a safe space to explore counselling.

I understand the courage it will take to start your journey, finding a professional like myself can be helpful. I have much experience in client work, having dealt with a wide range of issues, not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, or life transition

Mindfulness

Mindfulness practice can bring your attention into the present moment, non-judgmentally, developing skills through mindful meditation.

Mindfulness is a powerful way of controlling your mind. It is a Buddhist tradition that enables the mind to process and clear out negative thoughts, to eventually find spiritual and mental relaxation.

Walk and Talk/Eco Therapy

Walking therapy is a shared activity, creating different ways to explore your counselling pathway.

Natural outdoor settings aid relaxation, releasing endorphins and calming the mind enough to connect to the rhythm of what is going on around you, whilst building the therapeutic relationship.

Being outdoors may calm you, and aid focus and thought processes, enabling you to make meaning of intrusive thoughts.

Creative, walking therapy can be helpful when things you cannot say in words. I use a range of ways to express and develop meaning to what is coming up in the present.

Practice description

I offer face to face and online appointments. I can tailor the process to suit your needs, also providing Walk and Talk Therapy sessions.

Being curious together, we can turn what is coming up into conversation. In your own time, in your own way, I will be there beside you.

Creative work within therapy can be used to facilitate parts of the process with non-verbal expression as a means to communicate your inner world.

I also provide a range of coping techniques, including grounding exercise and mindfulness to support your journey away from the counselling process.
