About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist and adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in counselling and Psychotherapy. As an Integrative Psychotherapist, my approach to my work is to allow the uniqueness of an individual’s voice and concerns to be heard, seen, validated and understood and adapt my way of working to suit what has been shared by my clients. My aim in my practice is to support my clients on their journeys to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and to empower them to make the changes that aligns with the life and person they want to be.
My tailored approach to meeting my clients’ needs are drawn from a range of modalities, including Person-centred, Psychodynamic, CBT and Solution Focused therapies that we would explore in our sessions together so that the personal and behavioural change desired is achieved.
I appreciate that reaching out for support can be a very daunting and scary experience and so I offer a warm, empathetic and friendly approach in the therapeutic space. This is so that our relationship between myself and you, can develop in a safe and comfortable way. Our work together is very much collaborative where I listen and are guided by you and your needs that you bring to our weekly sessions.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute initial telephone or zoom conversation, where you will have the opportunity to ask me any questions that you may have. Following our conversation and you desire to pursue therapy a 50min initial assessment will be arranged. The initial assessment session is an opportunity for me to get to know you, for you to share some of the struggles or difficulties that you want to explore and focus on in therapy and how I maybe best able to support. We would then plan together our regular weekly session dates and times.What I can help with
