About me and my therapy practice
Whatever it is that has brought you here, deserves to be spoken about.
Maybe you would like to have better relationships with yourself or others? Maybe you feel out of touch with who you really are, you want to find your voice and make life changes and just don’t know where to start?
I have a real passion for supporting individuals who want better relationships, discover their authentic Self, find their voice and become empowered, balanced and inspired.
Although therapy can sometimes be difficult, I try to ensure there is light in our space. You’ll get kindness and support and I’ll walk with you every step of the way, I’ll also challenge you, point out blind spots and guide you towards meaningful change.
Practice description
Clients describe me as approachable, non-judgmental, understanding, honest and straightforward. They feel safe to be themselves with me without hiding their thoughts, feelings or experiences.
As an integrative therapist, I use a number of approaches, however, my work is firmly grounded in origin story and while my qualifications and training underpin this, I also draw on my own life experience, ongoing learning and unlearning.
We’ll work collaboratively and I aim to demystify therapy to provide framing and understanding for why we do what we do. I have walked and continue to walk the talk, and importantly, I really love what I do and believe this is an essential part of being a helpful therapist.
I work with young adults, adults and older adults. Areas of particular interest and experience are (but are not limited to):
Relationships | Childhood issues | Psychological/Emotional abuse | Coercive control | Narcissistic abuse |
Sexuality – particularly coming out later in life | Impact of cults and religion | Anger management | Trauma | Grief |
My first session
I offer a free half hour phone or zoom/skype call so we can both get to know a little about each other, talk about your objectives, and whether you feel we might be a good fit for the journey ahead.
I look forward to meeting you.
