I am available for an initial session (often by video call for individuals and in person for couples), which gives us a chance to see if we would like to work together.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer counselling for individuals and couples, more information is available on my website.
I am trained to work therapeutically with you in person or online. I have a Diploma and a first class Bachelor (Honours) degree in Person-Centred Counselling. I am also a certified Imago Relationship therapist, trained to work with couples and family members.
I offer you a safe, confidential space where you can explore those difficult moments in your life. I am there to help you as an individual or as a couple, to navigate through your difficult experiences, hurts and distresses, or other moments you need to share with someone.
I am warm and empathic, and understanding and open towards others. With my varied experiences of work and travel, I have met a range of people from different heritages, which has helped me be a better and broader-minded Counsellor.
I will provide you with the necessary conditions to help you navigate through your difficult experiences.
My work as a Counsellor reflects three core beliefs:
1. Being genuine, so you can successfully explore the issues that have brought you to seek help and find your way through them.
2. Being accepting, caring and empathic, giving you the opportunity to increase your self-understanding and manage your life in a more constructive, satisfying, and healthy way.
3. Providing a non-judgmental and safe place to share your experiences as we work together to explore your actions, thoughts, and feelings.
Our life experiences shape us in unique and particular ways and opening up what has been difficult for us requires kindness and compassion from ourselves and others if we are to heal and grow. While it may take time, it is in the here and now that we learn to work with the difficulties of our lives, and that is where healing happens.
Together, we will explore your current feelings and circumstances and you can start to bring about changes in your life, and your relationships with yourself and others.

For individuals, I aim to help you navigate through your difficult experiences, hurts and distresses through a person-centred, client focused approach. By providing you with the right conditions and space to talk and explore what’s difficult for you. You can reach your full potential and become your true self, as we take this journey together.
For couples, I use the Imago Relationship Therapy method and my role is to help you learn to connect in a way that strengthens your relationship, so that you can express yourself freely with your partner and feel understood. It also helps you to consciously understand your relationship and move on from where you feel stuck, towards healing and renewal.
My first session
For individuals:
For your initial meeting with me as an individual, we will explore what is important to you right now and some details of your history. We will use our time together for you to share what is going on in your life, and what brings you to seek counselling. It also gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and for you to ask any questions you may have.
For couples:
In your first initial session, I will teach you on how to conduct an Imago therapy dialogue and experience the benefits of this approach. I will show you how to transform the difficult conversations and aspects of your relationship into opportunities for growth, healing, and joy.
