About me and my therapy practice

I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Career Change Coach, working online and in-person. I work with adults and young people (18+) experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, and 'stuckness'. I am here to offer support, encouragement and guidance towards a deeper understanding of yourself.

Perhaps there’s a specific challenge that you are currently facing or maybe you are unsure of what it is you’re looking for but you have lost sight of yourself somehow. Whatever it is that has brought you here, I will listen empathically and provide a confidential space to explore what is important to you, at your pace. I will support you, without judgement, towards empowering yourself to make sense of the challenges you face.

I have particular experience and interest in working with anxiety-related issues. I also have experience working with work-related issues, bereavement, divorce, family and relationship problems, self-harm, suicidal ideation and panic attacks.

Practice description

I work psychotherapeutically, at-depth, with each individual as a whole, unique person, offering different perspectives of the human experience. I adapt how I work with each person depending on their needs in the here-and-now. I draw upon different theories to ensure I work in response to each individual’s needs. I work in a Person-Centred way to help me see the world from your viewpoint. I am informed by Transactional Analysis (T.A.) to explore patterns of relating within yourself and with others. I also use tools to bring awareness to the body’s experience in the present moment (such as mindfulness and ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) combined with the practice of self-acceptance and compassion.

My first session

It’s important to find a counsellor who you feel comfortable with.  I offer a free introductory online call lasting around 30-minutes. We can discuss your needs from counselling and I can tell you more about how I work and how this may support you.
