I am taking on new clients . I work Monday Thursday and Fridays with day time and evening appointments. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I am able to offer evening appointments.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a counsellor who provides a safe, warm and comfortable place for clients to explore what is making them feel unhappy with their lives, and enable them to explore how they can move forward or adjust to what they are experiencing, to be the person they want to be and lead a happy fulfilling life.
Our lives can change in a second sometimes this is a good experience, but when it changes and makes us feel unhappy, sometimes alone and overwhelmed with life, we want this to change, however this can be painful and difficult to do alone, I believe counselling gives the client a safe place to explore these feelings without being judged or directed and most important to be listened to.
I use a person centered approach to counselling, but use other approaches if I feel this will be useful to the client.
I work with young people from the ages of 12, and adults I have experience of face to face, telephone and Skype counselling.
I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, coming to me with a diverse range of problems. As a fully-qualified counsellor I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and abide by their code of ethics. I am also a verified member of Psychology Today, the Counselling Directory and the MCAPN.

Counselling gives you time and space to work through your problems. Therapy helps you gain a different perspective on problems and issues. Therapy provides a safe, non-judgemental and respectful environment. Counselling can help you regain wellbeing and balance in your life.
It's kept 100% confidential, we only ever discuss or do what the client feels comfortable with and we just openly discuss what issues or problems you are having.
My first session
I understand taking the first step to therapy can be daunting . I offer a free 20 minute telephone / video call consultation where we can discuss your reasons for wanting counselling and you can ask me any questions you might have . If you then feel that we are able to work together we can move forward and arrange regular sessions .
