About me and my therapy practice
Life changes and challenges come in different forms at different times in our lives. Therapy can help you manage the challenges and make the changes you want.
Therapy is a safe supportive space in which to:
- pause and reflect and renew
- explore our emotions, thoughts, behaviours
- consider your relationship with yourself and others
- gain new insights and understanding
- make positive changes, enhance your life and live more fully.
Through self-awareness comes the possibility of choice and change.
Practice description
At the heart of therapy is a collaborative relationship between client and therapist. A relationship built on trust, honesty and compassion. A process that provides opportunities for self-reflection and insight in a safe, confidential and supportive space.
My approach is integrative and relational. We will work in the present but may explore past life events and relationships to help you understand your emotions, thoughts and behaviours.
I draw on my training and experience in the creative arts, humanistic therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and coaching to support our work together. We will agree and work in a way that suits your needs and goals.
My first session
The first session is about getting to know each other, starting to explore what brings you to therapy, your hopes for therapy and how we might work together.
What I can help with
Addictions, Anxiety, Bereavement, Career coaching, Cultural issues, Depression, Development coaching, Executive coaching, Health related issues, Identity issues, Life coaching, Loss, Personal development, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Women's issues
Types of therapy
