About me and my therapy practice
Life can be difficult, challenging and whether you are a child, teenager, or adult. Seeking help and support during such times can seem overwhelming and I aim to make the process of seeking help, to be one in which you feel truly comfortable and accepted. I’m qualified counsellor and a registered member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ, following their standards and ethics.
The therapy room is in a rural setting just two miles from the A120; providing a safe space for you to explore, communicate feelings and to help clarify what is going on and make you feel more settled. I offer long term, open ended as well as short term therapy.
I offer an initial free 15-minute consultation, in which we can discuss your needs and see if I would be right for you. I am a fully qualified counsellor specialising in Children, teenagers and young people. As a parent/carer, are you juggling many roles, unsure of how best to support your child/young person.
Children and teenagers may face many challenges, not only are they going through physical changes, but they are also having to navigate the complexities of a continually evolving world and relationships. I can provide a safe and confidential space in which we can explore what is going on to increase self-awareness and find new ways of managing difficult feelings and behaviours.
I work in many ways with children and young people as they are often unable to communicate their inner world verbally to others. In offering creative ways of working children and young people are able to make sense of their feelings and behaviours increasing self-awareness and developing new ways of being.
I also hold a Diploma in integrative counselling(adults) in which I am able to tailor my approach to meet the client’s needs. I enjoy working with young adults and adults and value each individual as unique.
