About me and my therapy practice

I’m Bex, I’m a trauma informed, integrative psychotherapist. This means I draw upon tools from many types of therapy rather than just one type so I can cater my practice to what my clients need. Trauma informed means I have undergone specialist training on the impacts of trauma and that I understand how what you have been through can affect how you feel and experience the world.

I believe passionately that there is nothing ‘wrong’ with you and that you don’t need to be ‘fixed’. We have all had experiences that prevent us from being our best selves and it’s my job to help you unpack these experiences and support you on the journey to the self you want to be. I use a holistic, compassionate approach to therapy that aims to see the whole person in the bigger picture of their human experience.

I work with people who want to become empowered and to build their self belief, people who want to relate better in their relationships or to date more successfully as well as people who want their past experiences to stop impacting their present.

Often we are unaware that we are holding onto trauma or pain; instead noticing a change in our mood, motivation or daily energy levels. I can offer you a safe and warm space for you to share your feelings and experiences, free of judgement and free of a clinical atmosphere.

It takes significant bravery to choose therapy and it is very important to me to honour this by moving at the client’s pace. Therapy should be a space of validation and support when you can uncover your authentic self. Personal growth is an important platform for the happiness of the future you.

I am experienced in working with adults and young people. I am also experienced in working with people identifying as LGBTQIA+ and continually working to expand my knowledge on the issues that affect our community.

I am fully insured, DBS checked and MÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ registered.

Practice description

I have a particular interest in working with people to build their self esteem and supporting people in relating and dating more successfully. Many of my clients come to me for help with with their personal relationships (romantic and familial) and go on to be able to connect successfully and authentically. Whether it’s marriage stress or mother stress, I can help you improve your self esteem and your relationships.


My first session

We will get to know each other in a relaxed and non pressured way, you are welcome to ask me questions about myself and my practice as well as me learning what you would like support with. We can set goals or see what comes up each session, my support is catered around you.
