I am a fully qualified accredited counsellor/psychotherapist (psychodynamic, person centred, creative) and registered member with the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ/UKCP.
I am also a member of both the and BAAT professional bodies am fully insured and hold a current DBS certificate.
My approach is integrative which essentially means I find the approach most suited to you by weaving together theoretical approaches from my rigorous training.
I offer a safe space to allow us to think together about what you are facing in your life, understand trauma, fears and losses, and identify barriers to growth and how to connect with your potential. You may be looking for short solution-based therapy or longer term in-depth relational work. I offer both.
Practice description
By providing you with a non-judgemental safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings I can assist with learning, healing, understanding and growth.
I have experience of working with anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, eating disorders, loss and bereavement, suicidal thoughts and issues around neurodiversity. In addition to my private practice I have experience providing counselling in the charity sector, working in a COVID-19 bereavement service and NHS IAPT short term service. I have also been involved in lived-experience-research of an 18 month NHS mentalization based art therapy programme and currently run trainings for Mind on bereavement.
My services are offered remotely on multiple platforms and by telephone.
My first session
The initial consultation will last 50 mins and must be paid before the session. This is a chance for you to see if counselling is right for you and find out about how I work. It will be a chance to talk about why you are coming to counselling.
