About me and my therapy practice

I'll start by saying, I'm a bit unorthodox in my approach: if you decide to engage me as your counsellor, we'll get you through the difficulties weighing you down, but we'll have a good time doing it. More than once, a client has said to me, "I was talking about you, the other day, and my friend said, 'You always seem to have so much more fun with your therapist, than I do with mine!'" I hope so, because that's my aim.

I offer two approaches: integrative therapy, which offers you the opportunity to explore your difficulties in detail and so learn to face life differently; and RPG Therapy, which uses storytelling (and dice!) to help you explore your inner world while swinging swords at demons. I'm very experienced working with victims of abuse, trauma, and sexual assault, as well as helping people tackle drug and alcohol difficulties. I'm also a qualified children's therapist, and can offer young clients a safe space to talk, without overwhelming them.

My rates are: £60 per half-hour session, £100 per fifty-minute session.

Your issues don't define you; and the sooner we can tell them to get lost, the sooner you'll be on your way to an enjoyable, fulfilling life. It would be a privilege to work with you, and I look forward to hearing from you.

All the best,

Daniel
