About me and my therapy practice

Hello and thank you for being here. My name is Mary and I am a Qualified, Insured & Registered Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ Person-Centred Counsellor

Person-Centred Counselling in a safe, trusting environment for a variety of counselling concerns ranging from:

Grief, perhaps unprocessed and not spoken of for fear of "upsetting others"

Loneliness & Isolation

Low Self-Esteem, self worth

Peri-Menopause & Menopause, which has many symptoms, including, unexplained anxiety, anger, depression, forgetfulness, (brain fog) hot flushes (sweats) A feeling of losing yourself, who you know you are. Low libido. Loss of motivation.

Relationship or Family Issues

Stress

Stuck or feeling Unmotivated

Trauma, including historical that may be causing other issues within your life.

Work related Issues


Here are some examples of counselling concerns I have helped clients help themselves with. 

Historical grief that they have not worked through and felt a need to explore their feelings surrounding how they felt at that time and how this is causing concerns in the here and the now. 

Addiction issues such as becoming aware of their alcohol use and this was causing them issues in their personal and work life. 

Menopause, which was causing feelings of worthlessness, anxiety, anger, low self esteem and loss of self.

Historical trauma, which might be impacting on the clients personal and professional relationships. 

Concerns with trusting people, including loved ones and wishing to work through those feelings and thought processes, which might have lead to the mistrust. A need  and wish to build lasting relationships. 


Practice description

Person centred counselling appointments are available for

Walk and Talk counselling sessions. 

Your home counselling sessions, as long as the space is private and safe.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer Person Centred Counselling sessions at your home, walk and talk, online and telephone. 

Practice description

I am a registered and insured Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ counsellor. I am experienced with helping clients with feeling stuck, relationship issues, family conflicts, talking through and coping with grief and loss, parenting issues, trauma and career difficulties. 

I work with all clients to help them create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment or being told what to do. You are the expert in your life.

Taking this first step to begin your Counselling journey takes courage, thank you for getting this far. 

My first session

The first session is about discussing what you wish from counselling. What your expectations and hopes may be. What you expect from me, your counsellor. 

Boundaries and why we have them. Importance of time and appointments, and of course confidentiality and any questions you may have regarding the counselling contract.
