I am a trauma-informed and IFS-trained practitioner passionate about using neuroscience to support healing in the aftermath of trauma.
My therapeutic work is grounded in Contemporary Psychotherapy, an integrative solution-focused model that combines and utilises the main models of psychotherapy, from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to Humanistic and Existential theories and is outcome-oriented.
My training and approach are rooted in evidence-based practices, from neuroscience to somatic practices, and are culturally affirming.
Practice description
Through continued professional development courses, I have become accustomed to combining therapeutic methods, Body Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems and Mindfulness to facilitate a reconnection with the body and self.
I work with you as a whole person, paying attention to both the physical and psychological processes and how they are connecting together.
I am committed to delivering such interventions in a compassionate, collaborative, and inclusive way.

The process of healing following a loss, or a significant life event requires patience and time. Each and every one of us will be affected in our own way. You may be feeling helpless and perhaps hopeless. Whether you are struggling with ongoing anxiety or depression, or with a loss experience or life transition, hopes and dreams may be lost as well. Yet you are exploring counselling, and that alone implies that you hold hope for your future.
I have experience working with people presenting with various issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, interpersonal problems, loss and bereavement, eating disorders.
Practice description
Talking: hearing oneself speak is a very important part of getting to know ourselves – deepening the primary relationships – the one with ourselves.
Being heard: being witnessed: is also a very important element in the healing process and that’s where I come in. Creating a safe, confidential space in which this process can be housed. Joining you on your journey.
Our sessions will be a dialogue where we can work together to create new possibilities in a way that feels right for you.
I can offer a calm and understanding place where clients can explore their own experiences and provide the tools to support my clients in their journey to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and live a more fulfilling life.
