About me and my therapy practice
Hi there, I'm Victoria. I'm an accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor working with individuals and couples, offering a completely confidential, non-judgmental and understanding space. I offer both long term and short term therapy.
I am very passionate about helping people understand more about themselves and make the changes they want to see in their lives; whether this be to build self-esteem after experiencing emotional abuse, move on after a relationship breakdown, or feel less heartbroken after the loss of a loved one.
I hold a Master's of Science degree in Therapeutic Counselling; this training means I have undergone extensive academic study as well as clinical supervised practice before I was given the "go ahead" to practice as a Counsellor/Therapist.
Prior to venturing into private practice, I worked as a Counsellor for a short- term NHS service. What I love about private practice is that, unlike the NHS services, the sessions are open ended, meaning there is no time limit on how many sessions we have together.
No matter what you are coming to therapy with, I guarantee you will be met with warmth and compassion.
