About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Natasha and I am a Person-Centred Counsellor, running my private practice in Bradford, offering both online and face to face sessions, in a comfortable therapy setting.
I pride myself on being down to earth, most of all... I'm human, just like you. I've got all the regular roles and masks to juggle, from daughter to mother, friend to family member, I've been employed and an employer. Needless to say in my 40 years so far I've probably had personal experience of at least half of issues listed in what I work with, so I feel that enables me to empathise and understand the difficulties life throws at us.
Whilst I work in general practice with a broad range of issues, I have a passion for supporting people through bereavement and recovering from abuse.
General practice supports with a broad range of issues, such as anxiety, work related stress, bereavement including pet bereavement or relationship issues, I have worked in specialist organisations for sexual abuse and domestic abuse. For more information please visit my website www.natasha-krystyna-counselling.co.uk
I understand how daunting and difficult it can be making the decision to start any form of therapy, particularly finding the right service or therapist for you so let me explain a little about myself and the way I work. My training is in the Person-Centred model, which means I offer a calm, confidential, non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Quite often when making the decision to attend therapy we are unsure of what has brought us to this place, and that’s ok, we can work together, at your pace, exploring your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Sometimes, some of these are buried deep or locked away in our sub-conscience which is why we don’t always know why we think, feel or behave the way we do. Working with a trained therapist can help you to process and understand the things you are struggling with.
