About me and my therapy practice
I have many years experience working with clients who feel they've lost themselves, suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, or trauma and finding it overwhelming and difficult to cope with everyday life. Whether you are impacted by recent problems or long-term struggles, I will support you at your pace on the symptoms that are causing you pain and distress.
It takes strength to remember you deserve more, when our brains are fighting against us and telling us untruths, and you certainly don't have to suffer alone.
I pride myself on being a friendly, professional, understanding Counsellor and I provide a safe, comfortable, confidential, and non-judgemental space for you to explore issues that may be holding you back from living life to the full.
The majority of my work with clients involves work around anxiety, trauma and relationship issues. I have experience working with Blue light services. I am qualified to offer Person-centred therapy, CBT, Trauma informed therapy, Clinical hypnotherapy, REWIND Technique and integrative therapy, according to the needs of the client.
Practice description
I have extensive experience working with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, suicide ideation, PTSD, non-epileptic seizures, phobias, relationship issues, trauma, sexual trauma and domestic violence. I have experience of working with Blue light services. and I am trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)
I also offer clinical hypnotherapy, which is an excellent treatment for relaxation, helping to re-framing phobias, smoking cessation, weight loss, sleep issues, confidence building, performance, and self-esteem.
My first session
I offer a free initial 20 minute session either over the phone to talk through the issues that are causing you discomfort. This initial session will allow you the opportunity to get to know me, and allow me to identify ways to help you. Therapy can be undertaken on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
I appreciate making the first step can be difficult, but counselling can be life changing.
