About me and my therapy practice
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by life? Sometimes the road gets rough and we struggle to hold it all together and the things we always used to find so easy suddenly feel impossible. Maybe you have never really spoken to anyone about the way you feel or you’re not sure if your problems are ‘important enough’ to seek counselling.
Most people in therapy are in fact struggling with everyday issues such as stress, anxiety and depression; you are not the only one. I believe your issues are important and so are your feelings. You have the right to peace in your life.
Some people may want to change specific aspects of their lives or may need help to manage major life changes such as the breakdown of a relationship or loss of a loved one.
Does this sound like you? I can help; I work with adults of all ages, supporting people struggling with feelings of guilt, anxiety and stress especially when due to relationship issues, parenting or caring responsibilities. Talking things over with a trained professional outside of your family and friends can help you find clarity, feel calmer, more in control, help you to make decisions without feeling guilty and give you a sense of self -worth and purpose.
I have experience working for the NHS, a local Children's Centre (with parents) and in my own Private Practice supporting adults both long and short term.
I worked for several years in schools as a Teaching assistant and SENCO and supported parents of children with special educational needs.
I also have personal experience as a single parent and caring for a family member with a brain injury.
Practice description
I offer counselling online using 'Whereby' platform. All you need is a smart phone, laptop or tablet. I can send you a link to click on which will take you to my meeting room.
