About me and my therapy practice
My name is Ellie and I am child and adolescent psychotherapist. I have worked with young people for over 15 years in a variety of settings including schools, fostering and social care. I am passionate about helping children to feel happy and safe, while assisting families to better understand one another. My special interests are not limited to those listed, so please don't hesitate to make contact to see if I am the right therapist for you.
Practice description
My 'integrative' approach means I may draw on using the arts to help young people express themselves along with other various methods depending upon the needs of my client. The main focus is always building a relationship based on safety and trust, from there I may use CBT/psychodynamic/trauma-informed techniques to offer tailored support. I am also keen to champion neurodivergence.
