About me and my therapy practice

Therapeutic Coaching is for when you are ready for CHANGE.

My sessions are all about creating insights, taking action, and making real changes—closing the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Together, we’ll make small, purposeful steps towards your goals, focusing on personal growth and self-awareness.

As an experienced counsellor and transformative coach, I’m passionate about helping you live the life you desire.

With Insight + Action, Change happens.

I also provide tailored resources and exercises you can access outside our sessions to keep the momentum going.

Below are some areas that therapeutic coaching can support with:

  • You might want to better understand yourself, enhance self-awareness, or develop positive habits.
  • Reducing stress or anxiety, learning to manage emotions more effectively, and improving overall mental well-being.
  • Breaking free from self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or patterns of negative thinking.
  • Strengthening personal or professional relationships, improving communication, or resolving conflicts.
  • Coping with big changes, such as career shifts, moving, divorce, or adjusting to a new phase of life.
  • Feeling more confident, overcoming feelings of inadequacy, or wanting to embrace your self-worth.
  • Letting go of unhealthy habits or toxic cycles, such as procrastination, emotional eating, or relationship patterns.
  • Seeking clarity on your career path, overcoming work-related stress, or achieving a better work-life balance.
  • Developing the ability to bounce back from setbacks, handle adversity, and remain emotionally balanced in difficult times.
  • Seeking a deeper sense of purpose, clarity, or direction in life.

If my approach resonates with you, please get in touch. Small, consistent changes lead to lasting impact.

Practice description

What I Offer:

Experienced and Knowledgeable: With over 20 years of experience in coaching and counselling, I’ve helped adults, young people, and children break free from limiting thoughts, emotions, insecurities, and unhealthy habits.

I currently work for Axa Health as a Psychological Coach and over the years I’ve worked with a wide range of organisations and charities, including Childline, Relate, JustB, Place2Be, Flourished Minds, The Harlow Therapy and Coaching, to provide support that makes a difference.

Scientifically Grounded: My approach is based on evidence-backed methods, using proven psychological theories and research to ensure each session is effective.

Practical and Action-Focused: I prioritise taking tangible steps both in and between sessions. Together, we’ll make progress towards your goals with a strong focus on action and self-discovery.

I also provide personalised interactive exercises and educational materials to help you manage symptoms and understand yourself better.

What I Am Not:

A Quick-Fix Solution: Real change takes time and effort. My coaching focuses on sustainable strategies for personal development, not short-term fixes.

A Passive Listener: While I actively listen, my role is also to provide feedback, offer challenges, and guide you towards taking concrete, actionable steps.

Just Theoretical: My coaching isn’t just about knowledge from textbooks. I combine coaching techniques, CBT, Transactional Analysis, Solution-Focused Therapy, psychological theory, and hands-on experience from over two decades in the field. My sessions incorporate counselling insights but are always framed with a coaching mindset.

A Magician: I’m here to support, guide, and equip you with tools, but the real transformation comes from the work you put in.
