About me and my therapy practice
Have you reached a point where you sense you just can’t carry on feeling this way? Maybe it’s a recent breakup, or a build up of feelings that’s just all become too much to cope with on your own.
Perhaps you are carrying a silent pain that you wish the people around you could see.
Maybe you are tired of not feeling understood by those closest to you. I wonder if you have lost your trust in others, and reaching out for help often feels impossible.
You are really not alone, and I would like to help, your feelings do matter.
I work therapeutically with adult survivors of complex and dysfunctional childhood relationships and trauma. This means we work together to try and make sense of your early relationships and experiences in childhood that you feel are still troubling you today.
Practice description
My counselling approach is integrative, which essentially means that I work from a toolbox of therapy techniques. This allows us to go at your pace and use the appropriate approaches for you and your unique personality.
I am a warm, relatable person and my style of therapy is collaborative so I won’t just sit in silence!
I listen, empathize and gently try to understand what it feels like to be you. I will help you to explore your issues but never push you to talk about things that you are not ready for. I will gently challenge and help you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a non judgmental safe way.
