About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling low, depressed, anxious, angry or experience bereavement or grief. This can feel overwhelming and you might need some support in figuring out what to do as sharing these feelings with friends and family can feel uncomfortable.
Seeking help is not a sign of weakness or failure as counselling can provide a valuable opportunity to look at what's going on for you and help you evaluate how you can best deal with the situation.
Talking to a counsellor is unlike talking to friends or family as it allows you a safe, confidential space where you can feel heard and supported without judgement.

I believe as we become more self-aware we can establish healthier boundaries and feel empowered in our life choices. I work relationally and I believe that each client is a unique individual with capacity for growth and change.
I work relationally and my training is in Integrative Therapy ( The Clarkson 5 Relationship model) .
I work with adults, couples and adolescents. I have extensive experience of working with trauma, particularly rape and childhood sexual abuse. Prior to qualifying as a psychotherapist/counsellor I worked in Special Needs Education and have a good understanding of neuro diversity, particularly ASD.
Practice description
I work with adults, couples and adolescents experiencing a wide range of difficulties including, depression, anxiety, loss, bereavement, trauma, self-harm and relationship problems.
I currently work as a Youth Counsellor for the NHS as well as running my private practice.
I believe that each client is unique and that there isn't a "one size fits all" approach so will collaboratively work with you to establish how counselling can benefit you.
My first session
I offer a free 20 min telephone consultation for an initial discussion. This gives you the opportunity to see how it may be for us to work together.
